The Engineering Graphic and Design (EGD) Workshop serves as an introduction to the fundamentals of AutoCAD tools. These workshops is hosted at the CAD4ALL campuses and is directed at grade 10 – 12 learners at no cost.
The CAD4ALL EGD CAD LAB provides a bridge between traditional technical hand drawing and the computer-generated software used to generate technical drawings today. “A challenge at tertiary level is the difficulty encountered by students when doing the computer-generated drawings component of their technical studies” (Buxton, 2015).
